Marie-Claire Marcotte is a writer, director, actress and producer from Regina, Saskatchewan, based in Tkarón:to / Toronto, Ontario. She is a graduate of the International School of Comedy in Reggio Emilia, Italy and the theatre program at George-Brown College in Toronto. She has participated in residencies in Canada, Belgium, France and Martinique. Her screenwriting has been recognized at the Los Angeles Film Awards, the Canadian Screen Awards and Webfest Berlin, among others. In 2024, she directed her first feature film, Rêver en néon, inspired by her play Flush.

Synopsis:
