2024 PROGRAM

Festival CINERGIE welcomes you for its 19th Edition at the Roxy Theatre in Saskatoon, May 9th to 12th. Join your fellow film lovers this spring in celebrating Fransaskois, Franco-Canadian and Francophone cinema from all over the world. The four-day festival will feature 14 film screenings, including 13 feature length movies, 30 short films, including a 2-hour special short film program, bilingual discussions with filmmakers, networking evenings, francophone tasting buffet, live music and fun events! Films include English subtitles.

Free screenings in community spaces.

The only francophone film fest in SK.

Festival CINERGIE is established yearly in Saskatoon since 2006. Each year, for four days in May, we present a selection of the best recent French-speaking short films and feature length films, with English subtitles, from Canada and around the world. We show films to represent different perspectives and francophone cultures from around the world, in a celebration of the French language and our rich storytelling.

Inclusive for all.

CINERGIE knows the importance of diversity and seeing yourself represented on the BIG screen: we place importance in selecting local and international francophone movies centering BIPOC, 2S/LGBTQIA+ and feminist voices. We showcase movies from many genres and for all ages and audiences. We offer free community screenings during important days of awareness, and a limited number of complimentary tickets to those with financial barriers.

Volunteer

It is the perfect opportunity to support a local YXE festival, make connections with your community, practice French, gain experience to add to your resume, and watch great movies for free during the festival! We accept all volunteers no matter your level of French.
