Local & International Francophone Films
CINERGIE is relaunching its “Spotlight on the West” evening, screening a feature film from the Prairies or North-Western Canada. We annually present short films by local and Indigenous creators and feature length films from Québec, the Maritimes, France, Belgium, Rwanda, Algeria, Senegal, Tunisia, and other French-speaking regions and countries.

School Programming
We provide school screenings in French with subtitles, a post-film discussion and a teaching kit to enhance education in a francophone-minority setting for 5-8 years old; 9-12 years old; and 13-17 years old students. Each student receives a Gold All-Access Pass giving them free access to the entire festival.

Inclusive + Accessible
Festival CINERGIE knows the importance of diversity and seeing yourself represented on screen: we place importance in selecting BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+ and feminist movies and support local organizations during our year-round events. We offer free community screenings, and a limited number of complimentary tickets to Indigenous people, Newcomers and people in severe poverty.
